GB-REDCAR,: GC-18-165 Sprinkler retrofit - Spencerbeck House

NOTE: This notice was updated on 22 October 2018 for the following reason: Incorrect estimated value in initial advert(A principal contractor is required to successfully deliver a programme to retrofit a sprinkler system into a high rise building in Middlesbrough.

The general Mechanical scope of works will be as follows:

>Stripping out and removal of all plant and connecting services

>Installation and modification works of the existing domestic water services and new sprinkler services including booster pump sets, break tank, sprinkler heads, distribution pipework, valves, controls and all associated ancillaries

>Installation of new automatic controls

>Booster pumps/tanks

>All associated builders work Testing and commissioning

The general Electrical scope of works will be as follows: >Mains and Sub-mains distribution equipment >Lighting, Emergency Lighting and Small Power Installation >Fire alarm installation

>Electrical Services Associated with Mechanical Installation >Standby Generator Installation

The proposed works are expected to take approximately 12 weeks (TBC) to complete.)

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
