Installation and Maintenance of Road Lighting, Traffic Signs & Bollards

North East Lincolnshire is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the repair, maintenance, and installation of road lighting, illuminated traffic signs and bollards. The works consist of the installation and maintenanceof street and car park lighting, illuminated signs and bollards along with the installation and maintenance of seasonal illuminations and other related works as required. The contractor will be required to provide prompt response to reports of street lighting defects, undertake routine cyclic maintenance works (bulk change and clean) of illuminated traffic signs and bollards and programmed maintenance.

Additional information:

General Maintenance - Repair of outages to street lights, footpath lights, car park lighting, illuminated traffic signs and bollards. Emergency attendance, in the event of unsafe occurrences. Carry out bulk lamp change, cleaning and maintenance of illuminated traffic signs and bollards. Night time scouting and reporting of defective/non lit equipment Additional Maintenance - Minor improvement works, electrical safety testing, emergency attendance. Provision and removal of temporary advance works signs and sign plates for pending Highways schemes. Capital Works- Renew defective road lighting columns and improvements to public lighting as part of the Council's crime reduction agenda. Improve/ renew road lighting in conjunction with major highway maintenance schemes. Install new lighting infrastructure as part of larger road development schemes. Seasonal Illuminations- Provision, installation, removal and maintenance of both Summer and Christmas Illuminations and assistance with official switch-on occasions. Road Safety -Provision of services associated with the installation, maintenance and re-location of Speed Activated signs and Driver Feed Back Signs. Section 38 and 278 Works.

Provision of services associated with the installation of Road Lighting equipment related to works required by developers
