description
Wirral Councils Domestic Abuse Hub is committed to supporting the most vulnerable residents to live their lives safely and to achieve their full potential.
The target hardening service will be available to any occupant of a dwelling in the Wirral Borough. This means that the person can be living in Local Authority or other social housing or private rented or owner occupied accommodation. The service will be available to all victims irrespective of their age, gender, disability, ethnicity, or sexuality.
Target hardening enables those at risk of domestic abuse to remain in their own homes. It supports victims to feel safer should they choose to remain, and it can reduce repeat victimisation through the provision of enhanced security measures.
