description
The White Rose 16+ Framework, managed by Leeds City Council, will expire in December 2018.
The Trust is tendering for a framework for the below;
LOT 1 - Group Living
The Trust currently commissions 30-40 placements in group living accommodation in and around the Doncaster area (some placements are out of area). This number largely remains the same each year.
The Trust has recently opened a six bed home in Cantley and has plans to develop a further twelve beds over the coming year. Additionally we intend to work in partnership with SAHA and the council to make additional use of the Foyer.
The Trust has also begun to implement the House Project working in partnership with St Ledger Homes. Further details about the House Project can be found here: https://innovationcsc.co.uk/projects/the-house-project/ As a consequence of these plans the Trust expects to make less use of purchased provision in the future. The below is an illustration of our potential requirements over the next two years:
| Current | 30-40 |
| 12 Months | 15-20 |
| 24 Months | 5-10 |
Although we expect to have less need for purchased group living accommodation, we do want to further develop our partnerships with local providers. As such we intend to commission a four year framework - also accessible to other Local Authorities, and host regular market events to share best practice. Depending on demand and consistency, we may look to block purchase places from the framework following the first 12 months.
LOT 2 - Supported Tenancy's
The Trust expects that for the next 12 months the demand for supported tenancies will not greatly vary from the current requirement. After this the level of demand is likely to fall as we develop and utilise more of our own provision.
Timeline
Please see below our draft timeline for the Commissioning exercise, please note these dates are not static and there may be adjustments over the course of the year.
