THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION.
Peterborough City Council's Care & Repair team will be establishing a framework so that it may award services contracts for handyperson services.
The overall aim of the services will be to assist and support elderly, vulnerable and disabled local residents (adults and children) to live independently and be warm and safe.
The Handyperson Services Contracts to be awarded will deliver general minor works in the homes elderly, vulnerable and disabled local residents (adults and children).
To raise awareness and encourage participation in the future call for competition, Peterborough City Council would like to invite all interested suppliers to a supplier workshop.
The aims of the workshop will be:
- To provide further details on Care & Repair and the scope Handyperson Services.
- To explain what a framework is and how it will be used to award contracts.
- To explain the procurement process used to establish the framework, including an introduction to Invitation to Tender documents.
- To provide an overview of the ProContract system which will be used to host the procurement process.
The Supplier Workshop will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.
