description

The Seven Force Commercial Team is supporting the Police and Crime Commissioners for Norfolk and Suffolk in identifying interested organisations in delivering the following equipment: 3D Laser Scanners to be used for Forensic Collision Investigation.

Laser scanners are essential equipment to precisely locate evidence at fatal and life-changing road traffic incidents. This is used by expert Forensic Collision Investigator's (FCI's) to analyse and report upon the causes of the collision, using impartial evidence-based interpretation.

FCI is subject to the Forensic Science Regulator statutory requirements to meet ISO 17020 and 17025 quality standards. Laser scanners are critical equipment required to achieve this.

The Police and Crime Commissioners for Norfolk and Suffolk are focused on investigating incidents well, victim focused; trust and confidence.
