description

The hold baggage screening x-ray machine at Newquay Cornwall Airport needs to be upgraded to meet the requirements of standard 3 machines for Explosive Detection System (EDS) as set out in UK and European legislation.

At the same time, the Airport wishes to replace its 2 cabin baggage x-ray machines and the Walk-Through Metal Detectors that are used for the passenger screening process in the central search comb area. The new cabin baggage x-ray machines shall meet the requirements of new UK and European legislation for the screening of liquid and gels.

This contract will cover the supply, installation and maintenance of this equipment.
