description
Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) will be commencing a pre-procurement market engagement prior to commencing procurement activity for Lead Employer for Dental Foundation.
The purpose of this notice is to notify the market of the Health Education England intention to undertake to appoint a suitable partner/s to deliver Lead Employer for Dental Foundation. As part of a wider engagement, we are inviting stakeholders to a virtual market engagement event which will be held via MS Teams.
The aim of the programme is to improve the induction and rotation process for dentists in foundation training enabling movement between NHS and non-NHS organisations to be efficient and to avoid unnecessary duplication of employment, deployment and induction processes. One of the responsibilities of HEE is the organisation, management and quality assurance of postgraduate training to dentists approved training posts across England.
We plan to hold a wider Market Engagement session for interested parties regarding the provision of this service opportunity and share further information with organisations. The event will provide an opportunity for you to find out more about the aims of the tender, the process, general discussion, open Q&A and an opportunity to network.
The event will take place via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 17th November 2021 at 3pm until 5pm.
The event will open with a presentation to outline the service and talk through the upcoming tender opportunity and will not last no more than 120 minutes.
Please RSVP your attendance by 4pm on Tuesday 16th November 2021 with the name, title and contact details for attendees. Please e-mail Dentalreform@hee.nhs.uk to confirm your place and a Teams meeting invite will then be sent to all attendees.
HEE will use the opportunity to gather intelligence which may influence and inform the development of the final tender.
The future procurement will be conducted as an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and is expected to be published late November 2021. A separate advert will be released advising the opportunity via Atamis https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome
The contracting authority reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time. The Contracting Authority requests that all communications following launch of tender opportunity is channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within the ITT (Invitation To Tender) documentation.
