Drug & Alcohol Recovery Services

Bracknell Forest Drug & Alcohol Action Team are seeking to commission Drug & Alcohol Recovery Services.

The Drug and Alcohol Recovery contract will be awarded on a Prime Provider Basis. The Prime Provider will be responsible for delivering or sub-contracting a full range of recovery service which will include but are not limited to the following:

• Brief interventions, advice, peer support programmes
• Structured programmes of care to include drug rehabilitation requirements, alcohol treatment requirements and Youth Restorative Orders.
• Assertive outreach services both community & criminal justice

Parenting programmes

• Substitute Prescribing (including Dual Diagnosis)
• Alternative Therapies
• Awareness training to improve early interventions

Additional information: The service will be provided to adults and young people who reside within the boundaries of Bracknell Forest Council. Payments for the services delivered will be made on a Payment by Results approach for any individual entering treatment after the contract start date. A set contract value will be applied to any person already in treatment on the transfer date which will be paid over the first year in 12 equal instalments to assist with cash flow. In addition to this there will be a small outcome payment due in respect of successful completions for this cohort.

The closing date for submission of completed Invitations to Tender is 12:00 mid day on 6th October 2015.

Organisations must register their interest against the portal advert in order to receive any changes or notifications issued by the Council during this tender process. The Council will not be held responsible for lack of communication to any organisation who does not register their interest.
