Event Catering Concessions 2018

The Council are seeking to appoint a number of operators to provide food and drink catering units/ stands for three events being held in Portsmouth in 2018.

• Lord Mayor's Rural and Seaside Show, taking place on Castle Field on the 5th - 7th May
• Portsmouth International Kite Festival, taking place on Southsea Common on the 11th - 12th August
• Armed Forces Day, taking place on Southsea Common on the 30th June

Bids are sought from hot and cold food catering units (providing meals, snacks and sweets), hot and cold drinks units (which can include iced slush drinks) and ice cream providers. Indicative numbers and split of each type of catering unit are included in the application information and guidance.

The contracts will take the form of a service concession which will require payment to the Council from the successful operators. Operators are able to bid for one or more events.
