description

This research aims to determine how we might measure our progress and/or performance on equality and diversity (E&D) in regulatory activities, and the impact of our investment in activities related to this agenda. In order to do this we will take a recently developed working model of how E&D performance could be measured and discuss this with key stakeholder groups.

The ultimate aim of this research is to provide the evidence to develop a rigorous, evidenced-based framework by which to measure E&D performance in regulatory activities. The research findings and recommendations are to be utilised within the E&D team to develop the framework. Once developed, the framework will be evaluated and used to assist the GMC in tracking progress and impact of E&D across our regulatory activities.
