To design and cost proposals in order to fulfil the requirements of Urgent Works Notices for each of the

Bonded Warehouse and Engine Shed; that is, the minimum works necessary to make both buildings weather

intruder-proof, in order to prevent further deterioration;

• To design a proposed repair of the envelope (roof, walls, openings) for both the Bonded Warehouse and Engine

Shed and provide itemised cost estimates for each set of works;

• To provide cost estimates for any recommended measures deemed necessary to ensure the structural soundness ofthe arches and abutments of the Friar Gate Bridge (excluding the metal structure);
• To identify and recommend, for each building/ structure, in respect of an Urgent Works Notice and repairs to the

envelope, any additional investigative works, as necessary, that would allow refinement of the costings and re

unknown costs and estimates;

• To agree the content of and work up any sketch drawings of proposals, to an appropriate RIBA standard, in order to suitably inform the submission of Listed Building Consent or as part of a planning application.
