description
The West Midlands Resource Technical Advisory Body (WMRTAB) is a group consisting of: Waste Planning Authorities (WPAs), primarily from the former West Midlands Region; representatives from the waste management industry; and other interested parties, that work collaboratively on waste planning issues. The role of WMRTAB is to support co-operation between WPAs and others, by providing objective and authoritative technical advice concerning the sustainable management of material resources and strategic waste management data, issues, and development policies and proposals.
Worcestershire County Council on behalf of WMRTAB is seeking tenders from suitably experienced consultants to act as WMRTAB Chair and Technical Lead. Worcestershire County Council is the current budget holder for WMRTAB and will be responsible for monitoring delivery of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), however this role is jointly funded by the member WPAs and strategic work priorities will be set at the RTAB meetings.
