Street Lighting Replacement Project (Phases 2 and 3) - AWARD

The Council has identified a requirement for a SOX Lantern Replacement project. Phase one of this programme is now nearing successful completion and this procurement is for the second and optional (Housing) third phases.

Options for Tranches two and three will consist of the following: -

Tranche two

Supply and installation of 7,044 Replacement lanterns 7,044 TR22 visual inspections

7,044 Electrical Testing Inspections Provision to replace secondary isolation Provision for column replacements

Tranche three (Optional Housing)

Supply and install 1,801 existing 35W, 55W and 70W Replacement lanterns 1,801 TR22 visual inspections

1,801 Electrical Testing Inspections

Provision to replace secondary isolation

Provision for column replacements

The works for both tranches include structural and electrical testing of the street lighting. When instructed by the Engineer it may be required to replace the column and lanterns, inclusive of service connections and reinstatements.
