Medway Council's Education and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Service is looking to procure the services of an organisation with specialist knowledge, expertise and experience in the education sector, to undertake a detailed review of Medway's education, training and employment offer for all young people aged 16-19. Medway's People Strategy 2021-25 sets out a number of core priorities for children and young people:

| • | Children and young people in Medway will live independent and fulfilled lives into an active older age. |
| • | Children and young people in Medway contribute to their community and have a meaningful say in decisions and services that shape their lives. |
Medway is currently consulting on its Joint Local Area SEND Strategy 2022-25, which, building on the priorities in the People Strategy, sets out the following key ambitions:
