The Wanborough Flood Mitigation Works are located along three roads within Wanborough,approximately 6km to the east of the centre of Swindon. The three main areas of work are along High Street, Rotten Row and Kite Hill. The works comprise the following: - Improvements to existing and installation of new surface water drainage networks andassociated reinstatement on land owned by Swindon Borough Council. Improvements to existing and installation of new surface water drainage networks associatedreinstatement on land leased from Swindon Borough Council or in private ownership. Connections to existing and new highway drainage network and the Thames Water surfacewater network. Associated road closures and traffic management. Provision of operation and maintenance and health and safety information for each site.
