Landscape Assessment to inform the Wiltshire Housing Sites Allocation DPD

Wiltshire Council has a requirement for Landscape Assessment of options for allocated housing sites in Wiltshire<i>. </i>To satisfy this need we are seeking quotations from suitable suppliers. The Council is utilising an electronic procurement tool to manage this procurement and communicate with bidders. There will be no hard copy documents issued to bidders and all communications with the Council including the submission of responses will be conducted via the South West Portal. Wiltshire Council has a requirement to undertake a landscape assessment of potential housing sites in the county, to inform its emerging Wiltshire Housing Sites Development Plan Document which will allocate suitable housing sites to help secure and maintain housing supply in the county until 2026. The National Planning Policy Framework places a requirement upon Local Planning Authorities to secure sufficient delivery of housing to meet local needs in their administrative area, in cooperation with neighbouring authorities; the housing DPD is therefore required in order to ensure that Wiltshire Council can ensure that local housing needs are met in accordance with the requirements of the NPPF.
