APACHE DELIVERY TEAM (DT) SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH DALMEC LIMITED FOR THE ANNUAL SERVICING, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR CONTRACT OF QTY 9 DALMEC LTD PNEUMATIC MECHANICAL HANDLERS.

Contract Value: £12,778.00 (Vat Ex) for the original three (3) years contract.

This requirement is for the Annual Servicing, Maintenance and Repair of the Dalmec Ltd Pneumatic Mechanical Handlers. The Apache DT, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), proposes to award a contract to Dalmec Limited for the duration of three (3) years starting from 31/03/2019 with two (2) one (1) year option periods for the Annual Servicing, Maintenance and Repair of Qty 9 Dalmec Ltd Pneumatic Mechanical Handlers.

It is considered that these services can only be supplied by this specific economic operator. DALMEC LIMITED are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Dalmec Pneumatic Mechanical Handlers and therefore are the only supplier to have the necessary tools and access to the technical information that DALMEC LIMITED have at their disposable to provide the support package. Consequently, on the grounds of technical difficulties the annual servicing and maintenance cannot be carried out or provided by a different supplier to the one from the original contract.

This notice advises that the Authority has decided to negotiate a contract with the named supplier on a single source basis, and is published for reasons of transparency.
