TRANSACTIONAL SERVICES 3rd MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT - The Department of Health ("DH") and the NHS Business Services Authority ("NHSBSA") are hosting the 3rd of a series of market engagements: 27 July 2017, at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UA.
09:30 registration in Room 1W11. Main event: 10:00 - 13:00.
The Future Operating Model programme will transform the way in which goods (from stationary, clinical equipment/ consumables to MRI scanners) are procured and distributed across up to 243 trusts, plus over 1000 individual organisations within the NHS.
A PIN for these services was published in the Official Journal of the European Union 2015/S 213-389103 on the 30th October 2015.
The procurement of Transactional Services (3yrs +2yr) from a single Provider, will underpin this programme, and are likely to consist of, but not limited to:

2016/17 volumes are listed below, however, significant growth is expected within the overall Future Operating Model:

The prospective contract would be based on an open book plus management fee basis for an initial term of three (3) years, plus options to extend up to a further 2 years dependent on performance.
The market engagement event will be in the form of presentations by DH explaining the FOM, Transactional Services requirements, more detail on the procurement process and final commercial terms. It will also provide an opportunity for attendees to feedback to the DH both on the day and through follow up individual Supplier 1:1 engagement sessions.

Places will be restricted to two attendees per Supplier at this initial meeting.
Additional information: Please note that all organisations who register an expression of interest for this event will (if they have not already done so) be required to sign and submit a Non-Disclosure Agreement (Appendix A) via the email address supplied above by 17:00 on the 24th July 2017.
Please note that only organisations that have registered their interest and signed and submitted a Non-Disclosure Agreement will be allowed entry to the event. Organisations not attending the market engagement event, but who still wish to participate in future events are advised to register their interest via the email address provided above.
Please note that each market engagement event will be followed by an individual Supplier 1:1 follow up session the dates of which can be booked on the day of the event day. Future engagement event dates and along with a digital copy of the entire presentation will be provided on/or following this initial event.
