description
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to provide early specialist inputs on the proposed provision of football facilities in the Hawkenbury area of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The proposals will include 2no. 3G pitches, a series of grass pitches and built facilities.
This is a multiple Lot tender process, with the following Lots available:
Lot 1: Lighting Consultancy Lot 2: Noise Consultancy Lot 3: Traffic & Parking Consultancy
Tenderers are able to submit proposals for multiple lots provided they are able to meet the tender requirements for each. Please refer to the evaluation section for further instruction regarding the format of your proposal.
This work is required to assist in enabling the Council to strategically appraise the project and define its potential scope before a detailed Strategic Brief is created. It is equivalent to Stage 0 of the RIBA Plan of Work.
This stage is expected to provide reports on various key issues and propose any mitigation measures. It will form part of a pre-app submission to the Local Planning Authority to test the robustness of the selected site and the indicative feasibility proposals.
This work will be done in tandem with the preparation of a strategic Business Case which will then allow the Council to decide if it is viable, achievable, and therefore worthwhile investing in a sports hub at Hawkenbury with an emphasis on a Football Centre of Excellence.
