Sheffield Children's Hospital are seeking a supplier to supply a Biomechanics Lab for GAIT Analysis. The equipment must consist of the following:
Equipment purposes:
| • | Analysis and rehabilitation of the following: |
| o | Gait |
| o | Balance |
| o | Dual tasking |
| o | Motor control and learning |
| o | Perturbation |
Capability/components:
| • | Visual and auditory feedback. |
| • | A split belt instrumented treadmill for analysis over multiple consecutive steps to assess fatigue, variability and effect of speed. |
| • | A high speed treadmill for the analysis of elite athletes. |
| • | Simulated slips and moderation of limb asymmetries. |
| • | A perturbation platform for balance/response analysis. |
| • | Immersive virtual reality environment to test individual capabilities in real world settings. |
| • | Harness to ensure safety. |
