description

In line with Government plans to decarbonise transport and end the sale of petrol and diesel cars by 2030, Kent County Council is preparing the network for zero emission vehicles and in doing so supporting the ambition to reach net zero by 2050.

KCC has been allocated £12,080,000 in the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) funding to provide charging solutions for those residents without access to off street parking.

The Council is looking to speak with charge point operators (CPO) ahead of any potential Tender, to discuss options including commercial arrangements.

Please access the market engagement questionnaire via the Kent Business Portal. The deadline for responses is midday on 8th September 2023.
