description

Outline Scope

This project enables early works related to the Thanckes Overfill Protection Project.

Within the Overfill Protection Project, a new safety PLC exerts executive action over new ESD valves to prevent loss of containment of fuel.

The ESD valves will be ready for installation in piping line-work prior to the safety PLC being available so in order to proceed a solution is required to maintain plant operations.

This project enables temporary manual operation of each valve via a local switch.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
