description
Westminster City Council and its partner The Crown Estate (the partners) invite an ambitious and innovative agency to submit proposals to lead the public engagement of the Regent Street, Haymarket, and Piccadilly Circus public realm project.
The Challenge? To support Westminster City Council and its partner The Crown Estate in delivering an effective, values-driven, participatory and exciting engagement programme that generates a meaningful and representative response to support the development of this landmark project. The successful bidder will facilitate a range of engagement activities that help create a safe and inclusive environment for a diverse range of people who live, work and visit the area to help shape the future public realm design for Regent Street, Haymarket, and Piccadilly Circus. The partners are looking for the bidder to provide engagement activities that effectively support the wider design process.
Engagement Services
We are looking to commission one Engagement Agency to lead on two interdependent initiatives to support the project's aspirations for public engagement:
- Part 1: Representative Sounding Board
- Part 2: Public engagement and consultation
The appointed bidder should include experts in the required service areas and demonstrate a track record of designing and delivering high quality public engagement and participatory methods.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, innovative engagement ideas, and effective reporting of engagement activities are some of the attributes we expect to see in our appointed agency.
