description

The BFI is leading a high-level steering board that will provide advice and guidance, and wishes to engage a consultant to undertake a comprehensive audit of challenges facing the UK film industry with a view to understanding the future skills needs and to pinpoint where there is a need for support.

The work should differentiate the craft and technical skills areas as well as looking at different levels of skills and experience, grading and continuity of career development starting from entry level and looking to the development of Apprenticeships.

We would expect that throughout this Audit there is the fullest consideration given to the challenges that people from different backgrounds face. The Audit findings should identify steps that can be taken to increase diversity across the workforce.
