DUD - Provision of New Level Access Shower Installations and Refurbishment Works

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council invites tenders for the provision of new level access shower installations and refurbishment works together with all associated works to council owned, privately owned, privately rented and housing association owned properties within the borough of Dudley.

It would not be appropriate to split this Contract into lots, as this will not provide the council with any advantage in terms of economies of scale.

In general, work requirements are to comprise of the following areas:

Design service for the provision of existing and proposed bathroom layouts

Provision of asbestos testing and removal of asbestos

Stripping out of existing bathrooms

Provision of level access shower including under floor shower tray, slip resistant flooring and care shower Management of work programme

This exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). Details of the project are located under the All Opportunities link which is also where you can express an interest and receive the documentation. Once you have done this you must log back into the website using the details provided following registration and locate the contract document under Tenders>My Tenders on the menu.

To access documents bidders are required to register with the website. This may be done in two ways; 1) use the Register/Sign In button located on the Home screen or 2) find the project under the All Opportunities link and use the Express Interest button. Companies who have previously registered with the website will be invited to input their login detail

Once an expression of interest has been accepted by the system, Users MUST log back into the system to access documents. Now they will appear under the My Tenders tab.
