Request for Quotation for the Provision of Specialist Emotional Literacy Programme

Slough Borough Council ('Authority') is seeking quotations from suitably qualified service providers to support the delivery of three 10 week emotional literacy programme that provides emotional support, grows self awareness, self efficacy and confidence; this programme will empower service users and promote the rights & responsibilities of UK citizens. The Service Provider will use an educational support programme to empower residents of Slough in partnership with Slough Mosque's to help break negative cycles and empower users to achieve self directed

The Service Provider will deliver two groups over 2018 for women and one group for men all of who should be Slough residents. This work should take place within a faith setting in Slough and should be robust enough to help provide a narrative around sensitive issues facing clients such as the negative impact of physical chastisement of children, domestic abuse, coercive control including VAWG (as defined by the Home Office).

The Service Provider will also provide Outreach to targeted community groups and develop support for people who are and reduce barriers in accessing local services
