North Yorkshire County Council Staff Restaurant

The Authority are looking to award a Contract for the provision of the staff restaurant and meeting hospitality function at County Hall, Northallerton, DL7 8AD. The Authority are flexible to the approach to deliver this service, and the menus provided, please see below sections for more information. NYCC are in the process of rationalisation and as such are looking to utilise the space at County Hall. Making efficient use of the Campus and asking teams and organisations to utilise the meeting rooms and space on the Campus can help reduce the need to use external venues. By utilising the space we currently have we are looking for a sole provider to have a flexible approach to providing catering and refreshments to staff at County Hall in the staff restaurant and also providing hospitality for meetings, including tea/coffee, and flexible menu choices including hot and cold food. This could be a provision for both internal meetings and also external agencies. We would aim to increase the usage of the staff restaurant by rebranding and re launching the catering service and refurbishing the restaurant area to create an agile space that will become a flexible meeting area that can be used for informal meetings throughout the day with some form of refreshment provided. The Contract will be for a period of 5 years with 2 further options to extend of 3 years and 2 years. Therefore the total possible Contract duration is 10 years (5+3+2years).
