description

The works are to replace the existing access control system (Hardware & Software) with a system compatible with GovPass, and the Requirements of the Cabinet Office and DEFRA Security, including the ability to produce GovPass enabled Common Civil Service passes, Environment Agency ID cards, and Natural England ID cards from the Facilities area using the existing ID card printer.

The works will upgrade the existing TDSI access control system to the proposed GovPass requirement, which requires updating the existing site controllers (approx. 10 years old) to the new controllers (Guardis) and the implantation of Deister PRM6 Infinity Readers and associated Cipher boxes.
