CPH053 Clinical & Management Audits (Public Health)

Derbyshire County Council (DCC) are seeking a provider to develop, implement and undertake Service Audits, that seek to improve patient care and outcomes through a systematic review of care against explicit criteria, initially across 3 commissioned Public Health Services.

The audit processes will identify and celebrate good practice and enable providers to build improvement plans, if needed, to improve healthcare and management delivery, maximise performance, foster effective collaborative working practices and ensure maximum value for money.

The approach will support the DCC commitment to Outcomes Based Accountability (OBA).

Outcome Based Accountability (OBA) is a disciplined planning process that improves quality of life conditions in communities and improves outcomes for service users and communities and acts as the basis for commissioning and improving the performance of projects, programmes and services.

The scope of the audit and reporting process will consist of a clinical audit and a management (performance, contract, best practice & key elements met) audit for each of the 3 services. The services that will be audited are, Sexual Health, Substance Misuse and Childrens 0-19 Service

All audits are required to be carried out over a 6-month period.

Contract commencement will be 01 May 2022 for a duration of 6 months.
