Variable Message Signs (VMS) - Supply & Installation - Portsmouth

Portsmouth City Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified digital Variable Message Sign (VMS) specialists to deliver four new car park VMS signs including all logistical equipment and count detectors.

The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 18th April 2017 with a subsequent completion date for installation of the four signs by 24th July 2017. A minimum 1 year warranty is to be included for all goods and works. After the initial 1 years warranty period has lapsed a maintenance contract will be required on a rolling annual basis for maintenance and servicing.

As a result of this tender exercise, the Authority also reserves the right on an optional basis to purchase further related equipment from the successful provider in accordance with Regulation 32 (9-12) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. No estimate regarding the value of any further purchases can be provided at this point.
