CWC21153 - ESOL for Integration Fund 2021-22 Programme

City of Wolverhampton Council are inviting suitably qualified organisations to tender for a contract to develop and deliver community-based English language taught sessions for learners with little or no English, (pre-Entry to Entry Level 1), in speaking, listening, reading and writing led by suitably qualified practitioners that complies with and satisfies the requirements of the funding body, the Department of Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (DLUHC)

The ESOL FOR INTEGRATION FUND will support the hardest to reach residents in Wolverhampton to improve their English language skills enabling them to access other learning and social opportunities supporting residents' integration into the community and helping them to realise their full potential.

The project will also provide community-based social mixing clubs and activities, such as conversation clubs, language cafes or creative activities for ESOL and wider communities to encourage community cohesion and the speaking and listening of everyday English helping students build confidence in everyday situations.

Delivery will be targeted in areas of Wolverhampton with the highest levels of deprivation and highest need for ESOL provision.
