The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), is embarking on a fully compliant tender process under the UK Public Contract Regulations 2015 with the view of appointing a construction contractor to complete the design and carry out the construction of the Student Centre facility and University Squares project.
The Project will improve the student experience and create an attractive and world-class campus for the future of UCLan in line with the University's status as one of the UK's largest universities.
Our Campus Masterplan vision is to create an attractive and inviting, world-class campus compatible with UCLan's status as one of the UK's largest universities. A core principle of our plan is to integrate our campus seamlessly with the rest of the City, benefitting current and future generations of students, staff, visitors and the wider community.
Developing a skilled workforce which meets local, national and international needs is also a central pillar to our development plans. Over the 10 year lifespan of the programme we anticipate making a multi-million pound investment, helping to create jobs, kick-start regeneration and attract inward investment into the City.

Proposals received in response to this notice will therefore in part be evaluated on the basis of tenderers' approach to delivering social value.
