description
The Education For All South Sudan (EFASS) is the successor to phase one and two of the Girls Education South Sudan (GESS) programme, which has been running since 2012. The anticipated budget is up to £90 million, and we anticipate a continuation of the current multi donor model (where other donors make contributions to the Programme in addition to the £90m FCDO funding).
The Programme seeks to support the provision of essential education services, particularly to girls and children living with disabilities, and enhance the linkages with other UK and wider sector efforts to improve education access and quality.
The Programme will coordinate activities with other education programmes being implemented in South Sudan including Global Partnership for Education (GPE), Education Cannot Wait (ECW), World Bank (WB) education sector and Public Financial Management support.
The FCDO is holding a follow-up Early Market Engagement (EME) event on 12th December 2023 (13:00-14:30 BST) to the previous EME event previously held on 14th August 2023 for forthcoming Education For All South Sudan (EFASS). This is to provide a refresher on the Programme's overview; get market feedback on the draft Terms of Reference (ToR); to respond to any questions the market has; to gauge the market interest; understand the markets strengths and weaknesses and learn from the market to shape elements of the Programme and to inform the procurement activity. It will also allow potential suppliers to engage and provide innovative ideas.
Suppliers interested in attending the EME session are requested to complete the self-registration form ASAP (by 8th December 2023 at the latest) via this link: https://forms.office.com/e/Q3fiVZStp2
