GB-Lowestoft: East Suffolk Flexible Employer Scheme

Thank you for your interest in this contract and apologies for any inconvenience caused.(East Suffolk Council is commissioning a supplier to work with a range of micro and SME businesses in east Suffolk, to help them develop a bespoke Returner Programme for their organisation.

This pilot project will work with businesses, providing them with the knowledge and skills required to develop the means to access a large, skilled and relatively inaccessible demographic group of individuals (Returners) who have taken an extended period of time out of employment for caring responsibilities and want to return to paid work.

The project is fully funded for year one. The contract period will be between April 2020 and March 2021 with an additional optional extension of one year up to two years in total (one plus one). The extension will be subject to the supplier's performance in year one and the availability of funding for year two.)

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
