description

The Authority has commissioned a package of organisational development for members of the Palliative ad end of Life care team to include; Myers Briggs for the whole team (up to 20 individuals), to design and test 'Facilitation training' with a limited number of team members and also provide coaching to new starters and a limited number of team members.

The team has rapidly expanded over the last year. This training has been identified as essential for the team to develop following three away days, a skills audit and some coaching which has already been provided to date. the current provider is unable to continue their contract at this time.

This package of training will meet both individual, team and programme level needs. Focussing on working together effectively as a team and working through the developing regional approach with NHSE regional teams.

The majority of the training will be delivered virtually, limiting the need for unnecessary travel.

The provider will be highly experience providing a team of MBTI trained facilitators and coaches. In terms of coaching, in addition to a coaching qualification the provider will ensure coaches:

are members of a coaching and mentoring professional body
work to a Code of Ethics and Competence Framework
have regular professional coach supervision with a coach qualified in supervision
are experienced in coaching both individuals and teams

The provider will have multiple qualified and experienced staff to be able to match the skills, experience and qualities to individual members of the palliative and end of life care team.

The provider must have experience of establishing three way coaching contracts between the team member, line manager and coach. Whilst coaching remains confidential the provider will have experience in drawing out themes to present back to the team to support further development.

In terms of the Facilitation training, the provider will have experience of co-producing, designing, testing and evaluating new training courses.
