Haywood Road Park

Haywood Road Bowling Green is a neighbourhood park situated in the centre of Mapperley. For many years the site has been used as a bowling green with associated grassed areas surrounding the green. Bowls is no longer played on the site, therefore Gedling Borough Council and the wider community want to change the use of the site into a publicly accessible park, the area to include a children's play area and two table tennis tables.

Groundwork Greater Nottingham and Gedling Borough Council have carried out public consultation in order to produce a site layout plan of the development. The elements include generic play equipment, safety surfacing, table tennis tables, park furniture and associated landscaping. The plan highlights the existing site surface levels and the developed surface levels required. It also includes the positions of the equipment to be installed within the scheme.
