description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Biomedical Science for a Multi Photon Microscope. We are currently setting up a new laboratory with a research programme focused on the study of sensory processing and learning & memory, combining studies at molecular, cellular, systems, and behavioural levels. During this start-up stage of the laboratory, we require an adaptable, modular and inexpensive microscope system for multi-photon imaging of brain activity in vivo

This tender is one of 2 separate but interlinked tenders that contribute towards our investment in setting up a new laboratory in our Department of Biomedical Science. The linked tender is 1233/LF Electrophysiology system. We recognise that some suppliers may only be able to bid against one of the tenders and others may wish to bid for both. If you are bidding against both tenders we would encourage you to provide details of any additional discounts that would be available to us in the relevant pricing tables.
