Description
The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), National Oceanography Centre (NOC) have identified opportunities for improvement for the operation of the generator.
Project Aims
- To improve the operation of the generator set including reducing running time at low load and increasing fuel turn over
- To improve the maintenance regime and ensure compliance with statuary testing requirements e.g. load bank testing
- To enhance generator control including options for seemless 'on demand' transfer from mains to generator supply to enable the client to utilise the backup generator during TRIAD periods
- To improve building wide resilience to total grid power or nodal transformer losses
- To provide opportunity for onsite Demand Management
This Contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
The estimated start date is January 17th 2018.
