Introduction

The Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) requires the renewal of our service contract for our BC T200 Processing Unit and Typhoon FLA 7000. This service agreement will be for two years starting April 1st 2017 to 31st March 2019 for the above equipment. All these equipment require full cover throughout this term of contract.

BC T200 processing unit (Biacore T200)

Biacore systems are used in areas such as pharmaceutical drug discovery, antibody characterization, proteomics, immunogenicity, bio-therapeutic development and manufacture, as well as many life science research applications. Setting the performance benchmark, Biacore systems generate high quality data on the interactions between proteins and other molecules, including small molecule drug candidates. During research, development and manufacture, these data give insights into molecular function and disease mechanisms, and play a key role in the critical decisions needed for efficient development and production of therapeutics.

Typhoon FLA 7000

Typhoon FLA 7000 is a fast and versatile laser scanner for biomolecular imaging applications including sensitive and quantitative measurements of radioisotopic labels, chemifluorescent Western blots, and single fluorescence (visible excitation), as well as documentation of colorimetric stains (e.g., Coomassie blue and silver-stained gels).
