description

The Greater Data Programme will empower Defence to become a "need to share and data-centric" connected enterprise, where quality trusted data is available to those who need it, ready for interrogation and exploitation, driving faster better decisions.

The Greater Data Programme is implementing and embedding a data fabric across Defence, to optimise data exploitation, increase data security and reduce total cost of ownership. The Programme is planned for two years and will be educating and handing over to Business as Usual as soon as practicable.

The data fabric is being designed and delivered in both lower and higher security domains, so there is a clear need for minimum Government security clearance of SC. Some aspects of the Programme will require higher vetting.

The Programme has multiple workstreams and is being delivered by a multidisciplinary team of experts providing services the MOD does not have capacity to provide. This Scope of Work (SoW) is for the Programme Service.
