A46 Coopers Hill Southern Corner

The A46 Coopers Hill South Corner scheme will remediate the historic landslip movements that have resulted in deterioration of the carriageway surface, supporting Vehicular Restraint System (VRS) and slope below. The scheme will improve traffic conditions for people living and working in Gloucestershire by improving highways safety along the A46.

This contract will deliver the construction and remediation of the A46 Coopers Hill South Corner site located south of Brockworth, Gloucestershire.

Construction and remediation will include;

Tender period: 28th September 2020 to 30th October 2020

Anticipated Award: November 2020

Works Start Date: January 2021

Completion: April 2021

Overall Duration: 14 weeks

Indicative Value: £1m

The proposed procurement route will be a single stage (open process) using the NEC4 ECC Option A Priced form of contract with Activity Schedule.

The procurement process will be undertaken using the Council's electronic tendering portal www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk

Suppliers will need to register on the system in order to participate. Registration is free and we recommend that suppliers register now to avoid delay once the opportunity is advertised.
