Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, North Staffordshire, South East Staffordshire & Seisdon Peninsular, Stafford and Surrounds and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs currently commission an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service based in various locations across Staffordshire. This is offered on a basis of direct referral to Patients registered with GPs contracted with these CCGs.

The Commissioners wish to undertake early engagement with potential providers and subcontractors and the market in general who share our passion and commitment and who are dedicated to providing the very best choice, service and patient care standards, for a Community based IAPT Service.

In particular the commissioners would like to discuss their plans with the market to understand capacity and the ability of Providers to deliver this service.

Additional information: The IAPT Procurement Market Engagement Event relating to these contracts will be held on 22nd May 2019 between 9am to 12:00 noon in Stafford at the following location:

Stafford Beacon Conference Centre, 22 Anson Court. Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford, Staffordshire ST18 0GB. Please note access is via the Café entrance of this building. There is limited parking in front of the building, but parking is available close by on the link road.

Should a procurement be undertaken, this will be done via the Midlands and Lancashire CSU e. Procurement portal hosted by Bravo Solutions. "Light Touch Regime" services: the future procurement will be for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations ("Regulations"). Accordingly, the Contracting Authorities are only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations. The procedure which the Contracting Authorities are following is set out in the Annex 1 issued with any future tender. As the CCG is a relevant body for the purpose of the National Health Service (Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) (No. 2) Regulations 2013 these Regulations also apply to this procurement.
