The Stage 1 contract is a PCSA for the design services of the following:
- Demolition of existing building and enabling works
- Main construction works
The scope of works of the whole Design and Build scheme includes;
- Demolition and removal of the existing 1980's Tropicana building
- Construction of a new purpose built event space
- Visual improvements to the frontage of the promenade building
- Improving the wayfinding features of the site
- Resurfacing of the outdoor courtyard
