Newquay Strategic Route - Masonry Enquiry

Corserv on behalf of Cormac Solutions Ltd wish to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to provide all necessary resources to carry out the masonry works in accordance with all of the information contained within this enquiry.

The Bill of quantities has been prepared as guidance for the purposes of this tender, the works are to be completed in accordance with the Works Information and all information contained within the Sub Contractors package, the sub-contractor should note that the quantities will be on a re-measurable basis under a NEC option B contract.

Sub Contractors are to allow for within their rates for the installation of all sundry items and all specific details required to construct the masonry works as detailed within the designs and specification.

Within the BQ's subcontractors are offered the opportunity to price the installation of the coping stones, although if choosing not to price this element it will not affect your tender submission.

Subcontractors are also offered the opportunity to price for the installation of the Arch stones; if competent to price these works, then please consider the logistics of the lifting operation to undertake this works.

This is a labour only package and Cormac solutions Ltd with be providing all materials and sundry items in accordance with the designs and specifications.

The Contractor must confirm their availability to commence on the anticipated start date as well as advise of their assumed durations for the works.

The intention is to award the contract to the most economically advantageous tenderer based on 30 Quality and 70 Price.
