PAN1669 - Balcony and Walkway Concrete Repairs and Associated Works at Aikman Avenue

Leicester City Council is looking to appoint one supplier to undertake the full refurbishment of 192 pre cast concrete balconies and 18 walkaways, along with miscellaneous concrete repairs across five tenanted blocks of flats located on the New Park Estate in Leicester LE3 9JQ.

Works will include but are not limited to:

• The full removal of existing external finishes to balconies and walkways.
• Repairs to all areas of spalled concrete and exposed reinforcement to balconies, walkways and ring beams.
• Replacement of rain water overflow pipes to balconies and walkways.
• Painting of metal handrails to balconies and walkways.
• Miscellaneous concrete repairs and associated works.

This meeting will be based at Auburn House where all the balconies have been previously renovated to the standard expected from a previous pilot project.
