description
The MCA wishes to purchase approximately 300m of fence boom which is very quick and easy to deploy.
It is envisaged that the nominal draught of this solid flotation boom will be 350cm, however, we would welcome different options from tenderers.
The boom should be heavy duty with high visibility markings and tenderers should provide full details of the material used to manufacture the fence boom.
The boom will be part of the MCA’s stockpile of counter pollution equipment and will be used, in the event of a major oil spill, for the containment of oil spilled into the seas around the UK
