description

The Transport Provider shall provide a service encompassing the following:
| 1. | A transport booking service that allows the HPFT to make all its own journeys via an electronic portal or web interface and the Provider then allocates appropriate transport and support; |
| 2. | A digital system that is fully compliant with all UK and NHS information security and resilience requirements to record, manage and transfer all relevant patient booking information and to provide all required data to the Provider, to allow them to deliver the service; |
| 3. | A transport and scheduling service that facilitates a timely and punctual transport service to avoid problems such as patients being kept waiting, missed appointments, and blocked beds; |
| 4. | Systems and processes to ensure that patients travel safely and in comfort and that journeys are started and completed on time, with an appropriate vehicle and staff resource that is always matched to the assessed needs of the patient and escort where appropriate. |
| 5. | A system to collect and report management information such as activity data, exceptional journeys, information on service standards, delivery key performance indicators, complaint/compliment monitoring and mandatory data required by Department of Health and for inclusion in ERIC returns. |
| 6. | Analytical support for the booking service and Provider to enable accurate data reporting and data reconciliation. |
| 7. | Software that is compatible with other Providers to allow data transfer, integrated reporting and reconciliation. |
| 8. | Access to the Provider's live booking system and information dashboard to allow the HPFT to view and monitor in real time the collection times, arrival times, driver information and the location of the patients in transit. |
