description
We are looking for an experienced consultant ‐ or consultants ‐ to work collaboratively with our programme management team to develop business strategies.
The Peak District National Park Authority, acting through the Moors for the Future Partnership (MFFP) has successfully delivered restoration of the highly degraded blanket bogs across the protected hills of the Peak District and South Pennines for 15 years from initial HLF funding. This work provides major benefits to society ‐ notably it improves biodiversity, carbon storage, water quality, visitor experience and local socio‐economic benefits; reduces flood risk and wildfire risk.
The Partnership staff team has delivered £28m in conservation works, communications and monitoring projects (and has contracted commitments for a further £8m). We have successfully developed delivery of conservation techniques and innovated awarding winning communications and engagement and cutting‐edge monitoring.
We need to have in place effective business management that allows us to be resilient, give the best added value and be agile enough to respond to on‐going and future changes in funding.
The programme management team recognise that more efficiencies can be made by having a suite of strategic and business documents (eg new vision, communications strategy and funding strategy), to plan and drive the Partnership forward.
