description

The primary objective of this contract is to provide a programme of intensive support to SMEs within the engineering and manufacturing sector, including supporting engineering and manufacturing businesses recovering from the impact of COVID 19.

The purpose of the programme will be to increase their capacity to grow and enable businesses to identify and take advantage of market opportunities. This will include working alongside the Engineering and Manufacturing Network (EMN) to identify common issues within the sector and providing intensive support to address these.

The Council has confirmed ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) funding to enable delivery of this Project.

The Council has a commitment of £120,000 of funding to ensure the delivery of the scope and achievement of the strategic objectives in relation to this Contract over the contract period. It is to be noted this is the maximum funding available and meeting the funding constraints will be a requirement of this Contract and of the successful delivery partner.
